6 Days From Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen

Begin your journey from Tangier, traveling through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen (blue town). Known for its blue-washed buildings, this charming town offers a mix of history and culture. Explore the medina (the downtown), visit the Kasbah (fortress), and enjoy panoramic views. Overnight stay in beautiful Riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Riff Mountains – Fes

After breakfast, we will depart for Fes city, crossing the Rif Mountains. We’ll arrive in Fes around noon, where you’ll have lunch before starting a guided historical swalking tour of Morocco’s first Islamic settlement. This tour will take you through the vibrant medina of Fes, where you’ll explore fascinating sites such as the 13th-century tannery, a ceramics and pottery factory, the Koranic school, and the narrow streets of the medina, as well as its busy markets (souks).

Day 3 : Fes – Middle Atlas Mountains – Cedar Forest – Ziz valley – Sahara Desert

It is our third day of the tourin which we will travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as (Little Switzerland of Morocco). after that we may make another stop in the cedar forest where you will see the wild monkeys. Once we finish lunch in a local restaurant we continue through the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga desert dunes. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset on the sand dunes and sleep in the desert camp under the stars.

Day 4 : Merzouga desert – Todra gorges – Ouarzazate

Watch the sunrise over the dunes by the camp before heading to Todra Gorges. Explore the stunning rock formation, then continue through the Dades Valley and Roses Valley, reaching Ouarzazate city. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate located in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou– High Atlas – Marrakech

Leaving Ouarzazate on a direction to Marrakech. First stop will be the visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for so many international movies such as: Gladiator, Game of Thrones Bible… Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass (Mountain pass), arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon. Overnight stay in traditional Riad in the medina of Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech – RAK Airport

Today you will do a guided tour of Marrakech in which you will enjoy and learn about the city before we transfer you to the airpot, marking the end of your 6-day adventure Tangier to Marrakech.
