2 Days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes to Sahara desert via Middle Atlas Mountains

Meet at your accommodation to start at 7:30 a.m. Our first stop will be after an hour and half in Ifrane city and Ezrou to enjoy the Switzerland of Morocco (Moroccan Ifran city). You will have about 15 minutes to walk around the beautiful city and then continue to Azrou where we will see and feed the Barbary apes and take few pictures.

From here it will be another 3 hours drive to Midelet city which is mid wayto the desert. It is where we are going to have lunch. After lunch drive to the Sahara desert with stop in the amazing oasis of Ziz valley.

In the Ziz valley we stop for while to enjoy the view of millions palm trees and then drive to Merzouga dunes to ride camels and cross the dunes to the camp tents. In the camp you will have your dinner and breakfast as well as shower. Enjoy starry night in desert.

Day 2: Merzouga – Tinnghir – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

In the early morning, you should wake up to enjoy beautiful sunrise then have breakfast in the camp. You decide whether to ride camels again to leave the camp or jeep. Our destination is Marrakech which is really far away from the desert.

We are going to make short stops on the way to save time in order to spend it in the best places on the way like Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou most famous place in the area. Lunch will be in Ouarzazate which is Hollywood of Morocco.

After lunch we are going to drive more inside the mountains to visit the World heritage site of Unesco Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After the visit of the Kasbah we need to cross the high Tizi N tichka Mountains going to Marrakech with 2 to 3 short stops on our way. We will get to Marrakech around 8pm bringing with us best short desert experience.
