Morocco Itinerary: 11-day Morocco cultural tour from Casablanca
Welcome to the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca. As you arrive after the last possible visit to the Hassan II mosque, you will not have enough time to do it on the second day because of the Tangier city that we added to the plan. So, you need to choose between the mosques in Tangier and Rabat.
You have to skip one in order to have time to enjoy the rest of the day. Of course, there will be the possibility to see it from the outside and take some beautiful pictures as well if you would like to. After that, your driver will drive you through the Cornish of Casablanca and then drop you off at the hotel by the ocean.
Your Moroccan 11-day tour continues with a visit to Volubilis, an ancient Roman Berber settlement. Then, you'll stop in Meknes, another imperial city in Morocco, to see the Bab Mansour gate. Afterward, we'll head to Fes city, where you'll check in to a traditional Riad in the medina.
In the morning, we'll head south to the Merzouga Desert. Along the way, you'll make a few stops in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and the cedar forest to see the Barbary apes. After lunch in Midelt, you'll continue through the Ziz valley to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. You'll check in at a hotel with a view of the Sahara desert sand dunes.
It will be am amazing moment if you can wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the dunes. After breakfast, you will ride the camels or the Jeep back to Merzouga village. We continue our 15-day trip to Dades Valley, making stops in Todra Valley and gorges for photos along the way. You'll spend the night in a hotel in the Dades Valley.
After breakfast, you'll have a guided tour of Marrakech, which covers the Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, you can explore the medina on your own. You'll spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel.
