Day 1: Fes – Middle Atlas – Ifrane Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga (8 hours drive)
Our 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert Merzouga startsat 8:00am . Fes desert tour to Erg Chebbi sand dunes will take around 8 hours in total. Today we will see and enjoy the Atlas Mountains. Also, Berber villages and Ziz valley (very large palm oasis). Our first stop will be in Ifrane city which called Moroccan Switzerland due to its beautiful buildings and city design. In addition, we also stop again in Azrou forest to see the Barbary apes who are living in the cedar forest for many years ago.
The lunch will be in Midelt city which is midway to the desert. Our last stop before desert will be in Ziz valley with beautiful view of the palm trees and small villages. You will get to the desert before sunset time toride the camels and stay night in the desert camp with dinner followed with Moroccan Berber drums music.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra gorges – Dades valley (4 hours drive)
After having breakfast in the desert camp, we leave the Sahara desert to Dades valley our destination today. You will choose wether you go back to the town by camels again or jeep. We will meet again in the place where you ride the camels and then start our journey to Dades valley. The first city we pass by is Erfoud famous for its fossils and dates market. After Erfoud our next stop will be in the popular Todra valley. It is where we can take some awesome pictures and enjoy breathtaking views. We will have lunch in Todra and then drive more inside to the Todra gorges to enjoy the walk under the red cliffs and very clean river. From here we drive to Dades valley about an hour to where we stay for second night of 3 days Fes Marrakech Merzouga desert.
Day 3: Dades valley – Ouarzazte – Ait Ben Haddou -Marrakech (7 hours drive)
We have breakfast at the hotel in Dades valley and package for last day in 3 days Fes to Marrakech. We are going to drive about an hour and half to the famous city in desert province which called Ouarzazte city. It is the capital of the kasbahs in Morocco. You will visit the famous one which is Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. It is a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1987 and the best place in Morocco for film producers as well. There were so many famous movies take place in the kasbah such as: Gladiator, Indiana Jones, Prince of Percia and kingdom of heavon.
When we finish the visit we can have lunch in the village of Ait Ben Haddou before we drvie to Marrakech city. Driving to Marrakech city will take about 3 hours through the famous Mountain pass of ‘Tizi N Tichka’. We will arrive Marrakech city around 6pm. As result, the end of the 3 days Fes to Marrakech Merzouga desert tour.
